Hyaluronic acid
This molecule discovered by Karl Meyer has contributed to the understanding the content of tissues in humans, the protective role, insulation and volume role in different parts of the body. Hyaluronic acid is actually a sugar synthesized by the human body and other animal species.
This acid is produced in the skin cells, and its clinical application today is known as an important work tool in facial fillers or other areas of the body. Once injected, its duration in the tissue applied to gain volume lasts up to 12 months. In unusual cases, an allergic reaction to this synthetic product may occur, but this problem is corrected through the use of hyaluronidase. The commercial presentation comes in syringes containing 0.8, 1.2 ml.
